The hybrid Adler breech has been re-imagined for the petite rider.
Petite sizing includes a 2” shorter inseam and shorter rise from crotch to waistband. This sizing suggested for riders 5’4” and shorter.
- mid-rise waist with wide belt loops (fits up to 2” belt) and 2 pockets
- fabric provides UPF 50+ protection (excellent UV protection)
- super soft Ultrasuede knee patch and simple branding on back belt loop
Fabric sourced from Brazil, and cut and sewn in USA.
Thank God someone realizes there are short folks that ride! Fit like a glove! Thank you!
I love my Botori Adler breeches! It is difficult for me to find breeches that fit my petite frame, that changed when I found Botori! I have the Adler in every petite color option, I feel confident wearing them, they are durable & comfortable while riding, not see-through & have held up well since purchasing my first pair. I’m 5’3, 95 lbs & the petite XS fits me perfectly.
Lisa - thank you for including your sizing! I know this really helps others who are deciding on what size to choose.
I was super excited to find petite breeches, but am a little disappointed about the quality. The good - the sizing is on point, they are flattering, very comfortable, and wash well. The bad - the construction is on the cheaper side, the seems go every which way and look like they might split. The belt loops are too large, if you wear a belt with them the belt slides up over the top of the rise of the pants when you sit in the saddle. For the price, I was hoping for some nicer features, like boot sock bottoms and double stitching. If I had only spent ~$80 on them, they would have been a fantastic purchase.
Hi Charlotte! I welcome you to send photos of the seams that are in question as the stitching is very high quality and will not separate. These hybrid breeches are purposely not top-stitched for maximum flexibility and the no sock bottom is a design choice so that the breeches look good out of boots as well (ankle cuff is clearly shown in photos). The belt loop size issue, as well as a change in rise and front seam fit has been revised for the new breeches launching later this fall. Thanks for your feedback and we are sorry that the Adler breeches didn't meet your expectations.
It's nice to have breeches sized for petite builds. I did need to size down from a Medium to a Small. I am frequently between sizes on most size charts. For me, the Medium didn't fit like leggings and were a little loose. I am 5"1 and 140#, 40" hips and carry a bit of weight around my middle.
These are of a thicker legging material and should do well in warmer weather. They are very comfortable and the colors are superb. The phone pocket on each leg is very deep. Phones should ride along securely there. Very, very pleased with them and will be using them on a horseback riding trip in Spain. Will be following this company to see if they come out with more styles. Would love to see a breech in a more traditional and thicker material.
I already own the Adler breech in the regular length and they are long enough on me that I figured the short version would work. I was correct! These are actually the perfect length on me. I don't have a particularly long torso or legs - about average. At 5'5"/150lbs, the medium fits me perfectly. I tend to carry weight in my mid section and I appreciate that the medium size is tight enough around the waist that it isn't constantly falling down, but not so tight that it cuts into my stomach. The material is also thick enough to be a bit slimming and hide cellulite without being suffocating in the August heat. I love that this brand is making a product that can work for riders of all sizes, not just "perfectly shaped" thin people.
